Rust is game from independent video game developer Facepunch Studios, who also created the famous Gary’s Mod. The game is based on a combination of Minecraft, DayZ and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
In Rust you need to gather resources and craft things. The only items which are ready made are rocks, torches and bandages. Other than that you will need to collect everything, including iron, sulfur, wood, cloth, food and more. For instance, you can gather wood by chopping trees. You start with a basic crafting list including some weapons and cloths, but the most you find the more you can build.
There are various challenges that you’ll need to overcome in the game including drowning, hypothermia and starvation. As you can tell, Rust is a very realistic game that aims to create a true to life version of survival gameplay.
