I’m going to put my hands up and admit that the first time I read the title War of the Human Tanks, I wrongly presumed that this was just another, tried and true world war two game (see the rhyme there. . .?) Despite the title only being five words long, I somehow ignore two fifths of them—the “human tanks” part went right over my head. What the fudge is a human tank then? Well, Obi Wan Kenobi would say its “more machine than man. Twisted an evil.” But that’s just Obi Wan Kenobi. . . A human tank is a tank in the sense that. . .uhh . .. well it’s a tank, and human in the sense that it has feelings and emotions.
